When a family comes from two different backgrounds, it can be harder to figure out how to celebrate, what to teach, and what's worth passing on. With Forebear, it doesn't have to be.

Two traditions take more thought, planning, and coordination than it does for families with one. Sometimes the holiday arrives before it's been given as much thought as it needs.

Forebear brings the template straight to the front door — everything needed to celebrate the traditions that matter, before every holiday, all year long.

That's the year worth giving.

Different holidays.
Each with a lesson
worth passing on.

Every Forebear box is built around the universal lesson that lives inside the holiday.

Diwali is about light winning. Hanukkah is about courage in the dark. Passover is about fighting for freedom. Holi is about joy and starting fresh.

That's why Forebear works for every family — especially the ones who aren't sure what they believe, but know they don't want their loved ones to grow up without knowing where they came from.

"A parent doesn't need to be religious to want to pass on Diwali's lessons to their child. A child doesn't need to go to synagogue to understand what Passover is all about."
What's in every box

A box that shows up right before the holiday.

Before every holiday, a Forebear box arrives — with everything you need to make it meaningful, memorable, and actually fun for your loved ones.

Why we built this

We're an interfaith couple — one of us Jewish, one Indian-American and raised Hindu. When our son was born, we started talking about how to give him both of his heritages.

Neither of us are particularly religious, and both of us are very busy. We looked for something that could help us teach and celebrate our traditions with our son. Something warm, fun, not preachy — that would make both traditions feel real for him. There was nothing.

So we built Forebear.
